“How we look on the outside is a direct reflection of how we feel on the inside, making it impossible to work with one and not the other.”  – Brian Maynor

Ever since my first summer job in high school I’ve been working with image in one way or another, though I never imagined it would be a consistent theme throughout my career.

From majoring in Journalism, emphasizing in Broadcasting, manipulating our image to be ‘on camera’ was definitely an experience. We spent hours taping ourselves, reviewing, and tweaking everything from our hair and makeup to our posture and even our voices. It was a very humbling experience for sure.

Even during undergrad, I was focused on becoming an attorney because it was a ‘good’ career, which meant it was prestigious, required a high level of education and promised a comfortable living. Personal satisfaction and enjoyment weren’t even blimps on my radar, until halfway through law school.

Not only was I not like other law school students; I had no legal pedigree or experience, and found I was dreading every day instead of being excited like everyone else to learn about torts, contracts or moot court. I had made a terrible decision, and I clearly remember thinking, ‘I should have listened to my gut.’

Needless to say I graduated and passed the bar, caving to the pressure of not letting student debt and the opportunity for a great education go wasted, and briefly practiced law for legal aid. During my time there I was blessed to manage the domestic violence program for seven counties, because that experience brought me back to my purpose and the theme of image.

Working with these survivors, I rediscovered the power how we look has on how we feel, not just about ourselves, but also about the world around us. When we look good we feel good and when we feel good we have the courage and strength to tackle every obstacle in our path to greatness, but without it we hideaway and surrender our happiness to outside forces.

Once the grant I was working under ended, I had a reignited purpose for helping people live the life they’ve always wanted to live and not feel regulated to settle for the life they have now.

This fire launched my career as an image consultant, where I was afforded wonderful opportunities and recognition, but the longer I worked with people I discovered they were searching not just for advice on how to look better, but for guidance on how to improve every aspect of their lives.

That’s when it hit me that I was only addressing one area of service drawing me into this field of advocacy and aid. Along with image, I began studying Reiki and Soul Realignment®.

As a certified Reiki Master I am able to help calm, balance and focus your natural energy to harness its potential as a driving force for change, and as an Advanced Soul Realignment® Practitioner I can work on an intuitive level to help you reconnect with your divine purpose and higher self.

These new credentials, along with my education, training and experience as a broadcast journalist and attorney allow me to serve people with a unique, multidimensional prospective that offers insight and guidance on the aspects of how we look, feel and thus interact with the world around us at various levels.

We are divine beings with the power to create the life we want, we simply have to choose it.

My approach is innovative, creative and holistic, and designed to help you create the life you want.
